Released on Valentine's Day in 2015, Haunt Me is a definitive document of the 'nu-gaze' movement that blended traditional shoegaze textures with the emotional directness of 90s slowcore and emo. While Iris is often categorized alongside contemporary dream pop acts, this EP leans into a much heavier, more claustrophobic production style. The six tracks are characterized by extreme spatial processing, where the drums are pushed to the back of the mix and the vocals are treated as a textural layer rather than a narrative lead.
