Faces From the Masquerade is a document of communal release during a time of profound uncertainty. Recorded during a three-night residency at Brooklyn Steel in 2022, the album captures Car Seat Headrest at their most physically imposing. The atmosphere is thick with the specific tension of the late-pandemic era: the audience is masked, and Will Toledo performs in a full hazmat suit and gas mask.
