Ambient Land 5

Released in 2018, Ambient Land 5 represents a significant stylistic distillation for Roland Voss, the German producer behind Lemongrass. While the project is historically synonymous with the 'Lounge' and 'Downtempo' movements of the early 2000s, the Ambient Land series serves as a dedicated outlet for purely beatless, atmospheric exploration. This fifth installment leans heavily into Japanese-inspired themes, as evidenced by track titles like 'Koi', 'Fujiyama', and 'Ryu1'.
